CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. The name CSA comes from the idea of linking local residents directly to the farm where your food is grown in order to get fresher vegetables, a lower price, community connections, and a deeper relationship with the land. The growers and consumers provide mutual support and share the risks and benefits of food production.
You will love getting fresh, delicious, lower priced, pesticide-free, vegetables weekly. There are many reasons to eat local, it’s better for your body, better for your wallet and better for the local community. The one that sums this all up though is that eating local tastes better!
